FAQ
What shop vacuums and dust extractors does the StabilQuad Base fit?
Craftsman, Shop-Vac, Dewalt, Festool, Bosch, Fein ... the list goes on an on. We haven't found one yet that it doesn't fit. But if you want to double check before purchasing, ask gus@mullettools.com.
But my vac has an angled or small diameter inlet. Will it work?
Yes, it should still be compatible. We've fitted several oddball angles and sizes over the years with a 3D-printed adapter. Again, get in touch with gus@mullettools.com if you have a specific model you'd like to vet.
Why can't I just plug the Boom Arm directly into my vac's inlet?
You run the risk of permanently deforming your vac's inlet due to the weight of the Boom Arm. Additionally, it could tip over. It's best to get the heavy duty StabilQuad Base, or connect it to the Mullet High-Speed Cyclone Dust Collector.
Why does the base have all of those holes drilled in it?
Those holes help accommodate all the various shapes and sizes of vacs out there. Additionally, you can add accessories to your StabilQuad Base creating additional work surfaces.
How do I fit the base to my vac?
Very simply, actually. Here are the detailed instructions.
